Chinese game developer miHoYo recently completed the registration for an AI model,Indonesia Glossa, marking a major step in its AI strategy. Although Glossa has yet to be launched and its functions are still under wraps, it has gathered considerable attention in the industry. The term Glossa, derived from Greek and meaning “language” or “annotation,” suggests that it might be used to support intelligent NPCs (Non-Player Characters) in miHoYo’s games. As the developer of hit games such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, miHoYo is likely to use Glossa to enhance the efficiency of game content production, including character voiceovers, art design, and dialogue creation. Currently, the company has not disclosed the launch date for the model. [GameLook, in Chinese]
